ZTE’s Nubia has announced two new smartphones in China. The Nubia Z17S is company’s flagship smartphone, whereas the Nubia Z17 miniS is the successor of Z17 mini, which was launched earlier this year.
First up, the powerful flagship Nubia Z17S features an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. It has a 5.73-inch FHD+ full-screen (1080 x 2040 pixels) display.
The Z17S boasts of a 12MP + 23MP dual-rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, 0.03 second dual pixel focus, 2x optical zoom and background blur. It also has dual 5MP + 5MP front-facing camera.
Nubia says that the Z17S is made of 7 series aviation grade aluminum alloy frame and features a 3D glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Coming to Nubia Z17 miniS, it is the successor of Z17 mini. It features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080p) display. Inside it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC with 6GB RAM.
For cameras, It features a dual 13MP + 13MP rear cameras with monochrome + RGB sensors. It comes with a 16MP + 5MP front-facing camera. Both Nubia Z17s and Z17 miniS runs Android 7.1 Nougat with Nubia UI 5.1 on-top.

The Nubia Z17S is priced at 2999 yuan in China for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant. The Nubia Z17 miniS is priced at 1999 yuan in China. Both will be available in China from Thursday and will go on sale from October 19.

Samsung announces Galaxy J2 (2017) earlier this week in India. The phone is launched under the budget category and comes with a price tag of Rs 7,350. The South Korean smartphone manufacturing company didn't host any special event for launching the new J series phones, instead just listed the device on the Samsung India website with the specifications.

Display: The new Galaxy J2 (2017) is a little smaller in size when compared to the 2016 edition J2. The phone comes with a 4.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with 540x960 pixels resolution. While on the other hand, the 2016 edition of the phone comes with a 5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive display.
Software: J2 (2017) runs on Android OS.
Processor: It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos processor.

Firecrackers ban in Delhi-NCR: Supreme Court refuses to relax ban on crackers during Diwali

The Supreme Court has refused to relax the ban that it imposed on the sale of firecrackers in Delhi-NCR area citing spiking air pollution levels.

Supreme Court has announced a decision to ban the sale of firecrackers in the metropolitan city Delhi due to festival of Diwali. This verdict of Supreme Court has impressed the doctors as well as environmentalists. They articulated belief that it would help to make a moderately cleaner Diwali in 2017.

“We welcome the Supreme Court’s decision on ban of firecrackers’ auction in Delhi-NCR. In the month of October, this decision may provide some reprieve from the continuous air pollution in Delhi. But, the pollution levels in north India are several times upper than the normal level during the winter months. Moreover, we also require looking at a stricter, inclusive and time-bound step to speak to all basis of air pollution across India,’ Greenpeace India stated.
Every body parts get influenced due to the increase of pollution, affirmed Dr. Sandeep Nayar, HOD.

“Health problems including asthma have increased in the capital and there is no uncertainty that such diseases might get increase in coming days too,” asserted Dr. Nayar.
Dr. S. P. Byotra, chairman and head, Department of Internal Medicine, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital stated, “Of all the other factors, open field burning is responsible for 12% to 25% of particulate pollution in Delhi. Fall in wind speed is making the situation worse. We are witnessing almost 40% to 50% increase in OPD patients with respiratory problems. Wearing pollution mask, controlling indoor air quality and using air purifiers at home may give some relief to such patients.”
The specialists affirmed that the air quality worsens radically at the time of Diwali as a solid layer of smog combined with hazardous chemicals surround the city.

Honor 9i has a 5.9-inch Full HD+ screen with 2160 x 1080 pixels and 2.5D curved glass design on top. The phone has a screen-to-body ratio of 83 per cent. It is powered by Huawei’s own Octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 659 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. The storage is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.
Honor 9i runs Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 OS skin on top. It is backed by a 3340 mAh battery. The fingerprint sensor is at the back. Honor 9i a dual SIM, 4G VoLTe enabled smartphone that supports hybrid SIM slot. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS, and NFC.
Alongside Honor 9i, the company also announced two tablets in its Mediapad series and a 10,000 maH battery pack. Huawei Mediapad T3 and T3 10 sport metal chassis and come pre-installed with MS Office. The 4G VoLTE-enabled tablets run Android Nougat with EMUI 5.1 OS. They’re powered by 1.4GHz Quad-core processor and pack 4,800 mAh battery. They feature a 2MP front camera with 5MP rear camera.
Huawei T3 and T3 10 are Flipkart exclusive. The 2GB RAM + 16GB storage variant of T3 is available at Rs 12,999 while T3 10 with same storage configuration comes at Rs 14,999. Huawei Mediapad T3 10 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage costs Rs 16,999. The power bank is priced at Rs 2,399.
